Product Description

Ergonomic in form and function, the Genesis Series features high, mid and low back versions. Available armless, vertical adjustment arms, vertical and width adjustable arms and vertical and width adjustable with pivoting arm caps. Mechanisms include, (099) basic mechanism with pneumatic height adjustment and 360 degree swivel with adjustable back depth. The (095) is a swivel tilt mechanism with tension adjustment, 360 degree swivel and ratcheting back height mechanism. The (051) mechanism is a tension adjustable synchro-mechanism that allows the user to adjust the seat and back with one lever. The 051 also has pneumatic height adjustment and a ratchet back height mechanism. The (054) mechanism is an asynchronous mechanism that is tension adjustable with separate adjustment levers for the seat and back angle.

Chromcraft Genesis Series - Mid Back Task Chair Features:

Foam Cushioning - Chromcraft uses molded high resilient UltraFoam produced at our own facility in Senatobia, MS. UltraFoam is treated with fire retardant chemicals and is back by a limited lifetime warranty.

Inner and Outer Back - Constructed of multi-contoured molded polypropylene the outer back has a decorative texture and ribbed design. The inner back is mold with integral fasteners built inside the unit for a custom fit when matched with the outer shell

Internal back height mechanism - is standard on all models except the (099) mechanism. The ratchet mechanism allows for 2 ½" travel up or down with 7 locking positions. This allows the user to adjust the back height while seated by simply lifting on the back.

Internal Seat - The internal seat is molded multi-contoured 9 ply ½" thick hardwood plywood. The seat is standard with clinch-nut machine fasteners installed to insure a metal to metal connection at all attachment points

Arms - Three styles are available, each with a durable urethane over steel arm pad. 1. Vertical adjustment only with 3 ¼" travel. 2. Vertical and Width adjustable with 3 ¼" height and 3 ½" width adjustment 3. Vertical and Width adjustable with a pivoting arm pad.

Casters & Cylinder: Heavy duty class four cylinders and heavy duty 55mm casters are
standard on all Genesis task chairs. Class four cylinders hold loads in excess of 440 lbs.

051 synchro task mechanism allows seat and back angle with a single lever at a 2 to 1 ratio. Seat and back adjustment lock. Tension control knob. Seat and back moves as one unit at a 2 to 1 ratio in the unlock position
054 asynchronous multi function task mechanism with seat slider. Independent seat angle handle and separate infinite back angle adjustment handle.
085 simple posture mechanism allows the user to adjust the back only in an infinite range of motion. Ratchet back mechanism and pneumatic height.
091 side tension posture back mechanism with a 2.5 to 1 seat to back ratio. Unique side tension adjustment handle. The same tension handle also activates the pneumatic cylinder. Five position back lock feature.
095 swivel tilt mechanism that is tension adjustable. pneumatic height adjustment. Seat and back tilt as one unit.
099 basic task mechanism, swivel 360°, height adjustable gas cylinder. Chair back is attached via a j-bar which allows for horizontal adjustment of chair back.
